Eastenders live episode: Did you see Billy Mitchell wink at the camera?

Well, it was quite the special night in Walford yesterday, when Billy Mitchell carried the Olympic Torch through Albert Square. The segment was filmed live – which meant actor Perry Fenwick had a very special evening doing - not only his bit for London 2012 - but also ensuring the live Eastenders broadcast when without a hitch. Not an easy task.

From all your tweets, we know you were watching with us. In fact, the official ratings tell us a staggering  ;7.32 million of you were watching. And just like us, you were all in absolute hysterics when Billy (well, Perry) casually looked over at the camera and uttered the words, "'Ere we go'," before giving all of us at home a cheeky wink. Then he ran off to accept the torch! Brilliant.

His nod at the camera just showed how real the whole thing was – and that the Torch Relay really was running through London's most famous made-up borough. And we would be lying if we said we didn't get emotional watching Billy run through the square with his flame lit – there was definitely a tear in our eye.

Big props also go to Danielle Harold, who plays Lola, who did her labour scenes live too. The actress, 20, did the best fake birth screaming we've seen in a long while – and she did it in front of pretty much the whole Eastenders cast by the looks of it (she also works a spray tan well too as you can see in th e clip). Pretty impressive work, we're sure you'll agree.

So just in case you missed it, you can catch Billy's big moment (and that wink) below.

Team Eastenders, we salute you! That was a mighty fine bit of telly.

Labrinth has BIG collaboration plans and he has shared them with us!

Labrinth has BIG collaboration plans – and he has shared them with us!

We have a massive soft spot for singer-songwriter Labrinth. There's no doubt this man has more talent in his left thumb than most wannabe-artists these days – and what's more, he's embracing his new-found fame in a very modest (and rather hot) way.

So you can imagine how excited we were when he shared his plans for his next album, including the big-named stars he wants to work with. And for the good of our own iPod playlists, we really hope this happens!

"I want to work with Bjork," Lab told us. "I've vowed to myself I'll work with her and it'll be one of the best records I've ever made.

"The other person I'd work with is Dave Grohl [from the Foo Fighters]. He's a proper ledge. I know how to ma ke music his way and I know how to do it my way, so I'd get in the studio and see what happens. I know the moment will come!"

We'd like to see this moment too – Labrinth and Dave Grohl (above) in the same picture frame? Our eyes might explode from seeing too much fit in one place.

Despite his plans to work with the super-famous, Labrinth also told us he makes a conscious effort to stay out of the press, commenting that he's not too good at the showbiz side of the job because he's not a good actor (ooh, burn).

He admitted, "I hate the showbiz side of [the industry], I'm not good acting. Everybody who does that stuff loves to play up to the cameras but I just can't do that, I need to be myself. I say it comes with territory but I'm about the music, it's not my style."

The man makes a good point. And he makes good music. So we're not complainin g at all.

J-Lo releases teaser video for new single Goin' In ft Flo Rida

J-Lo has gone back to what she does best - and that's creating darn good tunes.

Former American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez has released a teaser for her new music video for single Goin' In, which features her good pal Flo Rida.

The singer - who celebrates her 43rd birthday today - can be seen smouldering in a purple cloak with matching jewel-encrusted lips.

In another scene from the 30-second clip J-Lo shows off her famous curves in a crop top and a pair of leggings as she shakes her booty to the catchy single.

The song appears on the soundtrack to dance movie Step Up Revolution and on the singer's Greatest Hits album.

The full-length video will premiere in full on MTV tomorrow.

J-Lo took to Twitter earlier to get the word out.

She tweeted: "My #GoinIn video premieres this Wednesday! Check out a sneak peek. It's on my greatest hits album, out tomorrow!"

Watch: One Direction win big at The Teen Choice Awards

Can these boys do no wrong?

One Direction cleared up at this weekend's Teen Choice Awards, winning the gongs for Choice Summer Music Star Group, Choice Breakout Group and Choice Love Song for their Billboard Hot 100 hit What Makes You Beautiful.

Sadly for the US of A - but not for us - the boys are back in the UK after touring America for months on end, so they couldn't accept the awards personally.

But they made sure the Teen Choice Awards audience knew how much it meant to them, via a cute and funny video message.

To begin with, Louis Tomlinson apologises for not being able to pick the awards up in person.

But things don't stay sensible for long.

In the clip, Louis' bandmates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik, struggle to reassemble their surf board trophy using protective goggles, hammers, glue sticks, string and sticky tape, without much luck.

Handy Andy needn't lose any sleep...

The boys beat mega-groups Maroon 5, Coldplay, Gym Class Heroes and their British boyband rivals The Wanted to the prize for Choice Summer Music Star Group.

Getting on with the acceptance speech, at the end of the video Zayn steps up to thank fans.

"It's a real honor to receive this award because we know it's voted for by the fans so a massive thank you to you guys - thanks for this," he says.

Following on from Zayn's words, all the boys give a big cheer and simultaneously say: "Thank you Teen Choice."

Twitter

The boys also took to Twitter to show their appreciation.

"Thanks Directioners for voting at #TCA12! We're so honored to take home 3 #ChoiceAwards including best love song: #WhatMakesYouBeautiful"

And adding his own personal message on his account, Niall tweeted: "Great weekend of shows, enjoyed it soo much! Couldnt stop smiling, back in london, big day tomorrow! #2yearsOf1D ,love you all ,night night"

The Dark Knight Rises: All the gossip from last nights Batman premiere in London

Batman swooped into London last night for the European pre miere of The Dark Knight Rises.

And by Batman we actually mean Christian Bale (not in his Batsuit), along with his co-stars Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

  • Vote for who YOU think is the hottest star of The Dark Knight Rises

Celebrity film fans were out in force for the premiere, and the special black carpet was littered with film, music and Reality TV stars including Guy Richie, Mark Wright, Peaches Geldof, Pixie Lott, Lorraine Kelly and members of The Wanted and JLS. Even Prince Harry showed up to the second premiere location, the IMAX in Waterloo.

Dark Night Rises - red carpet gossip

It was the biggest premiere of the year – Batman was back in The Dark Knight Rises and heat was on the red carpet ready to get all the goss from the film's stars (and gaze up close at just how very pretty Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt  are).

First to come a nd have a natter with us was none other than legendary Academy Award winning actor Morgan Freeman, who plays weapons expert Lucius Fox in the film trilogy.

The 75-year-old acting legend told us about his recent run in with Britain's Got Talent super-pooch Pudsey the Dog on US chat show The Jay Leno Show.

He said: "That dog is really something. I've worked with a lot of dogs before and there are some of them that I could have shot but this a very bright little dog. I'd work with him."

When we tweeted Pudsey (yep, that's right he has own account @OfficialPudsey) to let him know Hollywood royalty was singing his praises, the pup replied: "Is Morgan Freeman really producing The Pawshank Redemption for me? #oscarnomplease". He's doing what he can, Pudz.

Tom Hardy and his fat neck

Next to chat to us was the handsome-as-can-be Tom Hardy, The Dark Knight Rises' baddy Bane, who spends most of the film topless but sadly had his lovely face covered by a scary mask.

He told us how he packed on 30 pounds of muscle for the flick. He said: "[I did] No cardio, let your liver go, eat as much food as possible and lift heavy weights. Get fat! I have a big, fat neck in the film."

Joseph Gordon-Levitt: Thrilled to join the party

The equally handsome Joseph Gordon Levitt, who plays a cop in the movie, hinted that he'd love to make the step-up to superhero in the next film.

He said: "Every kid runs around with a cape when they are kids and dreams of being a superhero so absolutely I'd be interested in something. But my part in this film is great, I was so thrilled to join the cast – even if I was late to the party. I did get jealous of Christian though – he looked so badass in the costume."

Anne Hathaway - under pressure

Then the very beautiful Anne Hathaway, wearing a very bea utiful gold Gucci dress, sauntered over for a chat. But despite donning the iconic skin-tight Catwoman costume in the film the newly pixie-cropped actress didn't seem happy when reporters asked her anything to do with her sexy latex look. When one dared to ask if she felt comfortable in the costume, she pursed her lips before replying with a dismissive - "That's such a funny question".

She told heat: "I think it speaks to the wonder of Chris Nolan [the director] that I really didn't feel the pressure [of playing such an iconic role]…until I started speaking to the press!

"When I was [on set] I just had to be Chris' Selena not anybody else's [Catwoman]. I just had to get really strong and learn how to fight."

Unfortunately Batman himself, Christian Bale, was not in the best mood at the premiere – refusing to do any press except a short televised interview with Alex Zane.

In your face Batman!

< p>So although heat failed to get a chat with Hollywood A-lister Christian we did chat to (maybe not quite as famous) Mark Wright, Oritse from JLS and Keith Lemon. In your face Batman.

While eyeing up Marion Cottilard as she stood nearby, Mark told us: "There are a lot of beautiful ladies here tonight. I'm just here to see the film but yes, there are some very lovely ladies I'd love to have a chat with. I can't choose my favourite female superhero – they are super, super sexy."

Oritse said: "I love Batman. I had a cape when I was I was little but it wasn't black, it was gold. My superpower would be the obvious, flying.
"Anne Hathaway is so so hot. I can't even look, it's crazy. The Catwoman outfit is probably the best outfit evented for ladies ever. Every woman should own a Catwoman costume. I'm trying to sort it out."

Keith Lemon told us: "Anne looks good in her Catwoman sui t but she's cut all her hair off [now]. That's a bit shocking innit but she looks nice. For snog, marry, avoid…I'd marry Wonder Woman. Snog Black Widow … so sorry Anne. She's got those claws, hasn't she? Oh wait a minute from the side, she's got side boob! Side boob! I like side boob!"

heat's verdict on The Dark Knight Rises

Cast of the Dark Knight Rises at the European premiere in London

The plot: For his final, trilogy-ending Batman picture, Christopher Nolan pushes events eight years beyond The Dark Knight. Thanks to a major empowerment of law enforcement, organised crime is in abeyance, and both Bruce Wayne (Bale) and his caped alter ego have retired from public life. But when the psychotic Bane (Hardy) unleashes war on Gotham, Batman returns to the fray, meanwhile tangling with cat burglar Selina Kyle (Hathaway), roma ncing Wayne Industries board member Miranda Tate (Marion Cotillard) and inspiring plucky cop John Blake (Gordon-Levitt), who grew up in an orphanage funded by Wayne's charitable foundation.

What's right with it? The movie starts with a bang via a spectacular aerial segment establishing Bane as a highly resourceful foe, and later hits warp speed again after he takes control of Gotham, blowing up its bridges, blocking its tunnels, and unleashing underclass resentment against the city's pampered elites. It's astonishing to see this cautionary tale about the perils of widening inequality unfold within a mega-budget blockbuster. But it's not all heavy weather: Hathaway is a delight as the ambiguous Catwoman, and Gordon-Levitt gives the franchise some much-needed heart as the orphaned boy who grew up to be a hero.

What's wrong with it? After the whiz-bang curtain raiser, the first hour seems unnecessarily complicated, tal ky and weighed down by the burden of respecting the trilogy's overall story arc. Following fan complaints at teaser footage, the respirator-masked Bane is now comprehensible, but his voice somehow doesn't feel connected to the actor. And the film sure is long.

Verdict: Hot on the heels of the mind-spinning Inception, Nolan once again proves himself as the writer-director most capable of taking the Hollywood blockbuster into surprising and audacious directions. You'd be crazy to miss it. Four stars - Charles Gant

Kerry Katonas announces next autobiographical masterpiece

Kerry Katona white and pink dress

Kerry Katona is sending the world of publishing into a spin again by announcing that she's releasing her second autobiography on the 25 October.

The former Queen of the Jungle has penned the follow up to her first book, Too Much, Too Young saying it helps her to confront her past demons.

Tough times

Kerry Katona waving

No stranger to scandal, the mum of four has had some pretty hard times since her last book was p ublished six years ago, including drug addiction, bankruptcy and a lot of weight loss surgery. Kerry also talks about her diagnosis with Bi-polar disorder and the effects it has on her life.

A rollercoaster read

Kerry has promised that the book won't all be doom and gloom saying, "There are plenty of laughs too as, whatever the situation, I always make sure I find time to have some fun." That's our Kerry!

Her publisher Orion has called her 'the nations favourite come-back kid' and you can't deny no matter how many time she goes down she always jumps straight back up. We'll definitely be having a flick through the pages – this book could be the juiciest we've read in a long time!

Pinks baby daughter Willow plays bass on new album

Pink's baby daughter Willow plays bass on new album

Now we've heard of family collaborations before – Donny and Marie Osmond, Hanson and of course X Factor's creepy brother-sister act Same Difference – but we've never come across anything like this before.

Pink - real name Alecia Moore - has revealed her 13-month-old daughter Willow played bells and bass on her new album.

The Raise Your Glass singer is due to release The Truth About Love as her sixth studio album in September, and says baby Willow features on two tracks.

"She plays bells on How Come You're Not Here and she plays bass on a song called Timebomb. She's actually quite talented for a 13-month-old," Pink told MTV News.

"There was a basket of shit, and she came over and pulled out the bells and started banging on them, and I was like, 'Record it!' And then she went up to the bass guitar on Timebomb and started plucking away.

Baby got skills

So does Willow get her musical talents/violent tendencies from her mum?

"She's actually pretty good! She's better on bass than I am! She plays piano, she bangs shit, she's either going to be violent or a percussionist... or a violent percussionist."

Pink's new album The Truth About Love is due for release 17 September.

And the album's lead single Blow Me (One Last Kiss) is available to download 19 August.

Tulisa's sex tape ex MC Ultra's new single Have You Ever

He's the man behind Tulisa Contostavlos' sex tape scandal, but MC Ultra certainly hasn't let the recent court case stand in the way of his blossoming...ish... music career.

MC Ultra - real name Justin Edwards - has released his new single Have You Ever, and here's the video for you to marvel at. Or Not.

The 28-year-old ex-boyfriend of X Factor's Tulisa sings: "Have you ever loved somebody so much that your heart aches?" while kicking back wit h a ladyfriend in the music video. Oh, he also spends some time pouring booze down bikini-clad babes' throats.

Let's be honest; the song's not great is it?

But what do you think - will you be rushing out to buy this musical treat?

Original Sugababes confirm reunion and reveal new name: Mutya Keisha Siobhan

Original Sugababes confirm reunion and reveal new name: Mutya Keisha Siobhan

The original members of Sugababes have announced they're getting back together.

Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy have confirmed plans to release a new album later this year. They've also revealed the name of their new band.

Wait for it…

It's Mutya Keisha Siobhan.

How did they manage to come up with that?

The big reveal

The girls took to Twitter earlier today to break the exciting news.

"Dear tweeters ive been trying my best to keep this one on the DL haha @mutyabuena @siobhandonaghy @mksofficial," Keisha revealed.

"It's been killing us to keep it secret any longer! @keisha_buchanan @MutyaBuena," Siobhan added.

"@siobhandonaghy @keisha_buchanan I think we should tell the world. WE'RE BACK!!! @MKSofficial" said Mutya.

Harmonies

The three-piece who originally got together in 1998, admitted that they had a little work to do on their harmonies, seeing as they haven't performed together since they were 16-years-old.

Their debut single Overload won them a BRIT Award for Best Single.

"The first time we sang in a room together and worked out our harmonies and sang them together was recording a song called Too In Love," Siobhan told Popjustice.

Keisha added: "It was the first time we'd sang together since we were 16 years old. To be honest with you it wasn't an instant thing. When we were younger we gelled straight away, but we had to learn to blend with each other again.

"It was so special to be excited about hearing our voices together, and being excited about our music. On my days off I'd go home and I'd listen to the tracks. I'd be like, 'I'm really enjoying this'. I just enjoyed our music."

Hands up who's excited about this pop reunion!

Here's what we thought:

Inbetweeners creator Iain Morris forced to defend US remake

Inbetweeners creator Iain Morris forced to defend US remake

We were quite excited when we saw the arrival of the trailer for the US version of one of our favourite shows, The Inbetweeners. However it seems as though our initial enthusiasm for the revamp is not shared by die-hard fans who have slated the US's efforts, provoking UK creator
Iain Morris to jump to its defence.

After reading some of the negative comments, Iain felt the need to address the US trailer haters with his diplomatic tweet, saying,

'I'm not going to comment on the American Inbetweeners a lot because I have to use Twitter for more interesting things like complaining, but the pilot director, Taika Waititi, has made consistently funny TV shows … Damon [Beesley] and I didn't have a lot to do with it because we w anted it to be different and American, and it is, I think in a positive way.'

As huge fans of the show and film we were interested to see how Taika would portray the cheeky chaps in the upcoming show. We admit certain areas such as Will's frustrated demeanor or Simon's statuesque, Bryll Cream ridden hair do' may not be too hard to imitate, however some fans have been discussing how smooth the cross-over of the original's more graphic, crude elements might fair over in the States. After seeing the trailer, some of the commenter's labeled Taika's effort as 'tame' and a slushy 'romcom'. Iain is adamant that fans shouldn't "pre-judge", he continued,

'The original will always exist. Always. Never going away…You might like it, you might hate it, but don't pre-judge it…Lastly, I know people are only angry about the US Inbetweeners cos they love the UK one, which is amazing really, and honestly appreciated.'

What do you heatworld citizens think? Are you going to tune in and hope for the best, or are you optimistic that the revamped American version will be just as hilarious? Get your comments in.

Pink and Lily Allen to collaborate!

Pink and Lily Allen to collaborate!

It's going to be an exciting year for former singer and designer Lily Allen. Not only is the star pregnant with her second baby, but she's revisiting her musical roots and collaborating with one of our favourite rockers, Pink!

Lily has always played down any return to her singing career, opting for a quiet life in the country with her now husband Sam Cooper. However it seems as though Lily couldn't keep away for long and reportedly snapped up the opportunity to feature on Pink's new album, The Truth About Love. In a recent interview, Pink revealed,

"For the last 14 years, everyone has said no. But this album, everyone said yes…I think that's because people think I've softened. I think people maybe think I bite!"

The new album will be the sing er's sixth collection, to be released on September 17th, and Lily isn't the only starlet lending a musical hand to the star's effort, as Pink has also revealed that her daughter Willow also has an input playing bells and bass on two tracks. The star later confessed,

"She's  actually pretty good! She's better on bass than I am! She plays piano, she bangs s**t, she's,she's actually quite talented for a 13-month-old…She came over and pulled out the bells and started banging on them, and I was like, 'Record it!' And then she went up to the bass guitar on 'Timebomb' and started plucking away."

Both Pink and Lily have taken time out of their careers to concentrate on motherhood, but this time they could be back with packing plenty of punch, but as Pink swears, no bite.

The Only Way Is Essex preview: Lucy and Mario vs Sam and Joey

The Only Way Is Essex wouldn't be the same without a healthy dollop of drama – and you can expect plenty from the first episode in the new series.

Where there's a TOWIE party there's always an argument, and Lucy Mecklenburgh and Mario Falcone's engagement party is no exception.

Lucy and Mario come face-to-face with Joey Essex and Sam Faiers and it doesn't go well.

"You were my friend. And what you are doing now is completely ruining that." says Lucy to Sam Faiers. "Thanks for ruining our engagement party."

It's girl vs girl and boy vs boy as Mario goes on to row with Joey and Lucy with Sam.

Lydia loves Tom

On a happier note, Lydia Bright is all loved up with Tom! Awww. She tells Lucy, "He is so amazing Luce, he is just romantic and puts so much thought into everything. Luce he is literally like perfect, and I love him and he is so like beautiful."

Continues Lydia, "He obviously knew I had quite a lot of trust issues from my previous relationship. And before I could have any issues he banished all possibilities."

And Debbie loves Tom, too!

And it's not just Lydia who is smitten with Tom, her mum Debbie is a big fan, too. "I just absolutely adore him he is just lovely."

Sorry, Arg. But then, you've got Gemma now.

Cheryl Coles Sixties vibe for Under The Sun music video

Cheryl Cole on the set of new music video Under The Sun

Cheryl Cole (sorry, we still can't get used to calling her just 'Cheryl') has undergone a style reinvention for the video for her next single Under The Sun.

The crop top and colourful trousers of Call My Name are OUT, and it's IN with a beehive hair do, an orange pencil skirt, and sexy leopard print heels. The midriff is out again, but we know Cheryl works hard for her body, so who can blame her for showing it off?

We love Sixties Cheryl, she looks so cute! In fact these pictures have a very Spice Girls Stop vive about them. What do you think?

As for the song… it's been produced by and co-written written with Alex Da Kid and if you haven't already heard it on Cheryl's album A Million Lights it's got a super-infectious chorus and some cool hip-hop beats.

The video debuts on 26 July, followed by the single's release date on 2 September – so until then we'll have to make do with scrutinising these stills.
